It is not money that is the root of all evil but the love of it. Because when you use it according to the Word, it becomes a good thing: YAH blesses those who gives. (Luke 6:38 38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again). But you don’t give for the blessings you give because it is righteous.( Acts 20:35 35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”better to give than receive). When man place all his hopes and dreams on how much money he has or how much he can accumulate with money, it becomes apparent as to who he serves: who his god is. By yearning to possess (have or obtain) and hold onto money many have made the mistake of forgetting where their faith (complete trust or confidence in someone, YAH, or something, His power, grace and mercy) should be placed. And have turned away from God and turned toward money, as their savior. If you are not willing to accept money for what it is, a means of obtaining earthly things that are necessary to live and to be generous to those in need, then you have definitely missed the point of having it. It will not get you into heaven (can’t buy your way into it). But putting too much stock in it will cause you to be pierced (be subject to hurt and harm) with many sorrows (things that would not have necessarily happened had you put your faith in YAH and not put money before God.
We as men and women of the Most High God should run from the lusts and love of money of this world. I am not saying that we don’t need money, because we do. Or that YHWH don’t want us to have it, because He does. Through Yashuah’s birth, death and resurrection, we have been given righteous abilities and talents to make and enjoy money. He has also placed goals and dreams in us to be worked out using our abilities and talents. But first we must follow after righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, meekness and patience, so that we will know how to handle money and all other blessings that He bestow up on us.
We are to fight the good fight of faith, deliberately seek and hold on to eternal life, as we are called through Jesus, to do. And having professed (self-acknowledged or openly declared to be) that we are a part of a good profession (a declaration of belief in the service we do in the Word) before, not only many of our brothers and sisters, but also the world, in Yashuah. In other words do not be ashamed of the Gospel of Yashuah but shout His goodness to the roof tops so the world can know how good He is. I Timothy 6:9-12. GOD’S GOT IT NO WORRY NO FEAR.
