THE WORDS YOU SPEAK-PART 11
As we mention yesterday, the words you speak has a powerful influence over the actions you take and the outcome you get. The words you speak are the beginning of the “next”; the next event, step, process, etc. of your life (next thing that happens whether in the beginning of a moment, beginning of a new day (good and bright or dreary and bad), week, month or year; next laughter or heart ache. Yes, the next chapter of your life.
It can and often does begin with a thought and then after the thought process has been exhausted it materialize into the words we speak. You see, whatever you speak, out loud or even think about in your mind, be it good or bad, sets the tone for the next that’s coming. But we need to be mindful of this, that eventually, all that you have put out in the world (creating your next) will come back to you: blessings or judgments: Let’s look at it as an echo. The sound of your voice comes back to you exactly the way you put it out there because it is you doing the calling. Well so does your words. (Galatians 6:7-9 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not). You have the ability to do something about how you use your words and what words to use; through the help of the Holy spirit, who will help to put a watch over your mouth so you won’t speak that which you should not. (Psalm 141:3 Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.)
Words can make or break another individual, especially if they are not strong in their faith. So, we must be careful how and what we say to one another so that the words we speak will not be heard as harsh, reprimanding, condescending or judgmental. And that when we put them out there (speaking aloud) they take a wholesome beneficial form and meaning and therefore produce a positive and productive action. (Ephesians 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen).
(1 Peter 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:)
(Colossians 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.) Gods got it no worry no fear.
