KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ULTIMATE PRIZE

Don’t use your position, status or money to place demands others and blindly guide them contrary to the will of YHWH.  How can this be done, you ask? Well, today’s man is always seeking that next great thing or man or movement to follow; which will offer the best and biggest but once you are hooked, he sneakily pulls the support from under you and let you fall (in any area of your life). The resolve of our character should not be power or position or even money it should be love. The love Yashuah said to have for YHWH first, self and others. We need to realize that two of the three greatest events that will ever happen, has already happened. Yashuah came into this world as man, to be an example for man; to suffer as man and be tempted as man (He passed all the tests), then He took the same sins that He was tempted by to the cross with Him and now stands in the balance between us and our Father; taking our sins upon Him so the Father remembers them no more. The next great event, which all should be preparing for, is Yashuah’s return. And while we have great expectation, for Yashuah’s return, we must maintain a steady maturing in our spiritual life as well as our natural one: our lights will shine in both. He promised that He would go and prepare a place for all those who will serve, honor and obey Him. We must understand that YHWH is a good God. He is not an angry one or One who will use His position of power and perfection as a tool to punish us (that’s man’s way of doing it; when we are trying to “get someone back or prove that you are better than someone else, or to show them) He does not need to because He is all powerful and in control of everything.  Unlike the Pharisees work of deceit and empty meaning of promises, our worth, value and faithfulness should be revealed to show a true godly character, the one that all of us possess in Yashuah.  We should not be like the pharisees preaching and teaching the righteous way, yet not following it ourselves. There is a certain amount of responsibility all of us have been given, that is our lot to share with one another; your station in life, whether rich, poor or in between, does not determine your ability to love, be kind, gentle, truthful, respectful, etc. And for those who are called to a higher calling, one of leadership, in Christ, to emulate (mimic, copy) Him is expected. But instead of doing what is asked (by Yashuah) and expected of them, they, not all, do what pleases themselves, usually that which draws attention to their own person. They expect so much of others: putting demands on them that they themselves would not want to or could not bear to do themselves. So, be mindful that we are placed in position and places for YAH’ own reason, to help others and of the commitment we made to YHWH, through Yashuh. We are to think twice about what we expect of others; take on our own responsibilities, and accept any expectation placed on us by YAH. We should keep our eyes on the prize (Yashuah) and humble ourselves to the will of YHWH, in the name of Yashuah, so that we will be exalted in due time. (read your Word). God’s got it no worry no fear.

Matthew 23:1 – 12 1 Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples, 2 “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat, 3 so do and observe whatever they tell you, but not the works they do. For they preach, but do not practice. 4 They tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear,[a] and lay them on people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to move them with their finger. 5 They do all their deeds to be seen by others. For they make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long, 6 and they love the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues 7 and greetings in the marketplaces and being called rabbi[b] by others. 8 But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brothers.[c] 9 And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. 10 Neither be called instructors, for you have one instructor, the Christ. 11 The greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grand. I love my family, friends and everyone I meet. But most of all I love me some YHWH Who is the lifter of my head and the light of my life's pathway. Without Him I can do nothing but with Him nothing is impossible for me to do.
