JOY
We need to refuse to be unhappy and take the responsibility for our own joy and happiness and not wait for others to try (I said try: only YHWH, through Yashuah, can give you true happiness, one that last) and give you something that they may or may not have. If you never take responsibility for your own joy and happiness, letting all those around you off the hook, you will never experience the gifts YAH, through Yashuah, has given you nor the quality and fullness of life that has been prepared for you.
You see, the enemy wants to destroy us, using any means necessary so he uses our minds to steal our joy and happiness by putting all sorts of thoughts and imaginations in it to get us off track: he gets us to blame others for our mistakes and shortcomings (John 10:10 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly). An example of this just so happen to be the thought that if such and such don’t do this for me or give this to me or say it this way etc., then it is going to make me unhappy ; I’ll lose my joy, my day will be ruin. No, that’s not the way it should be. We need to get beyond our feelings and our imagination and step into the real world, the spiritual world, the one where Christ is our source for everything and take on the responsibility of making sound decisions for our own lives. (Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want).
So, all of us need to take back the responsibility that we placed on others, to make us happy; put that responsibility on Yashuah, the One who gave His very life for that purpose and more. He shows us how to be happy in helping, sharing and caring for others less fortunate, sick or just alone: He tells us to rejoice in it and we will be strengthened in our own self. (Nehemiah 8:10 10 And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”)
So, lets recap “your joy” is no one else’s responsibility. It is yours. Refuse to be unhappy because our YHWH is pure joy. (Psalm 28: 7 The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
Proverbs 14:10 10 Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy.
Ecclesiastes 3:12 12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. God’s got it no worry no fear.
