WHO ARE WE WILLING TO BE LED BY: YHWH OR SATAN? – Part I
It is so amazing how desperate we are to be led. But we have this self-centered know it all attitude, about us, that tells us that we, ourselves, are the ones running our own lives, doing all the leading and accomplishing. It becomes a battle of control because we choose not to submit to YHWH’s infinite power, love and control but to the illusion man has (through Satan) meticulously put before us; the devil is so sneaky and he uses who he will to do his work (to destroy- 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour). Well, I hate to beg to differ on the inclination that we are in control of anything, our lives, weather, children, finances, jobs etc. We are not, YHWH is. And when you are told that you control your destiny, understand that it is not the truth whole or otherwise, but YHWH controls your choices, leading to your destiny not man. And along with that statement (of us controlling our lives), I would like to say that we are never in complete control of our lives and we should be truthful about who is. The fact that most want someone else (but not YAH) to tell them what to do; to guide them all through the day, is the truth. You know that, when you expect someone else (but not YAH) to call the shots for you, and you don’t have to try and make decisions yourself but you take what they have determined to be true and go forward; you are always in a wait and see mode. You can pretty much sit back and wait to see what is decided by others about circumstances, situations, events, etc. that involves you. Do we, not understand that every decision made by someone else (especially in authority), eventually trickles down and affects the whole. It may not necessarily be directly (most of the time it does), but around and sometimes through you. So, we decide that YAH is dead or not real and allow those in the world’s power to say and think for us. We go farther and farther away from the will of Yashuah and completely disregard the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:17-19 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; So, we are to seek YAH’s face, first, not man, in all that we do, and He will guide us on our journey of truth. (Proverbs 3:6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. YAH’s got it no worry no fear.
