WHO ARE WE WILLING TO BE LED BY: YHWH OR SATAN? – Part 3
Jeremiah 17:5-9 Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord. He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?
We are to be careful, wise, and alert to those who are in leadership (Isaiah 9:16 “For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.”) How we see and are led is apparent by who we are engaged with and what we engage in all through the day. It is in such times as these that we seek YHWH and stay in His will. Do we read and study the word, listen to inspiring music (it does not have to be gospel but something that lift your spirit) and TV shows, movies that give a positive encouraging view of the world we live in. Or do we watch TV shows that are “entertaining” or movies that are so raunchy that your ears and eyes tell you to look away and don’t listen (news, reality shows, judge shows, shows that share people’s most intimate concerns, cursing, adultery, lewd and lascivious, and causes anger). Those are the kind of shows that are constantly watched, by the masses, and are feeding our spiritual man. We watch them with all intensity, as if we (some maybe) are living the lives and since it is negative, we respond to it readily and usually in a positive way. Even though it should be the opposite. In all reality it is a negative, pessimistic manor, which we expound on, with or without the truth on the matter, as the righteous thing to do. But YAH forbid if we get a good report, we barely respond, or we do not respond at all. Why is that? I will tell you why. Due to our sin nature (born with it) we automatically go toward wrong and sinful thoughts which in turn become deeds. To do the right thing does not come natural to anyone, we must work at it. This is not a bad thing unless you fail to do the best you can and let YAH do the rest. For us to see the goodness and run toward, it we must first purposely think, speak, and do good, with prayer and supplication. We will not make the cut every time but as Paul puts it in Romans 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do).” Even Paul, the most zealous man of YAH, admitted his downfall when it came to his actions, he knew that Yashuah was his Lord and that he needed the help of the Holy Spirit to be his guide.
I think that has become the nature of man (especially the ones who does not know YHWH, they look to the world (man) to give them, what they considers the truth) and when it is found out to be a lie they get besides themselves and start blaming everyone except themselves. But you listened and you responded to it as if it was gospel! Now you must accept your neediness, that went in the wrong direction, weed through the misinformation and rewind; learn that YHWH is always the same, He never changes and His love for us is greater than any love. So, let us learn not to make the same mistake over and over and over of trusting man before we trust YHWH because if we do, all (as it has) will fail. God’s got it no worry no fear.
