NOT CONVENIENT, BUT AN ALWAYS GOD
We look at YHWH as a convenient God, not the always One that He is. We can say that He is both, always with us and convenient to our needs, as He promised. To appreciate the magnitude of YAH’s love and Yashuah’s purpose we must first get rid of the world mentality and stop being possessed by worldly materialistic things and man’s word. (Hebrews 13:5-6 5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” 6 So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”) And we should turn our focus to the one Who is “I AM” (whatever He needs to be at the time of our need, that is who He is. There is no limitations that can be placed on His abilities (“I am who I am”, “I am what I am” or “I will be what I will be” or even “I create what(ever) I create”). (Exodus 3:14 14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.) He is light in a dark place, a vaccine, a word, a Father, a teacher, a lawyer, a doctor, a friend, list can go on and on). YHWH is an always with you no matter where you go, never late but always on time, walking with you in your worst storm (sometimes carrying you), never leave you alone, love, truth and everlasting God? His word never fails. We may see Him as convenient, when we want Him to help us, but His presence is always with us, whether we want Him to be or not. The reason He does not intervene in our situations or circumstances is because we do not ask Him to. When we do not want Him to, He sits and wait for us to call on Him and when we do, before we can finish forming the words in our mouth, He answers. (Isaiah 65:24 24 Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear). We think we have “Life and all of its trials, troubles and tribulations” under control and can handle it (NOT). But YAH wants to be our refuge where we run to and remain at all time.
Elohim does not want to be seen, by us, as just a convenient God, One who is shelved until we need Him. And by the way, we need Him, especially in times like these, every waking and sleeping moment of every day, hour, minute and second. We should go to Him early in the morning (when we wake) and pray, thank and praise Him for another day; to be able to service Him, therefore, our fellow man.
So, for us to reach our highest potential, in the LORD’s kingdom (this is what it is all about: eternity and what He would have us to do to meet Him there), we should never fail to show our genuine appreciation to the LORD, for all that He has done, is doing and will do. It is a must, for clarity and revelation sake, that we use our ears to hear, eyes to see, minds to process and understand, hearts to receive what is in the Word, hands to be used for His will, and feet to run toward all that is righteous and holy in the path, His way, that has been set before us. Forging forward, with an attitude of gratitude, we put YHWH first, having no boundaries for the love we have for Him and showing the world that we are grateful, and we will never take YHWH for granted.
Let us remember that He is not our go to solution, to only calling on Him when we have come to a fork in the road, that, I must say, most of the time we created. We get to that fork and do not know which way to go or when we need someone to fit in well with our needs, activities, and plans, but our go to solution for everything at all times.
Take YHWH off the shelf of your heart and display Him proudly out in front of you, allowing your light to shine bright because He gave it to you. And know that our YHWH is not a convenient YAH but an all-inclusive, ever present solution, with every answer in His capable hands. Try Him today and see His amazing love, mercy and grace in action: He will never leave you. (Romans 8:38-39 “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord). God’s got it no worry no fear.
