MORALITY AND LEGACY

MORALITY AND LEGACY – Part I

As the sun rise and sets so does the days of our lives. Sound familiar. It is true. We are born, we live, love, laugh, cry, and die. And in between our birth and death are where all the other emotions and mysteries of our life unfold. So, the question I put to you today is are you going to allow someone else to dictate the moral of your story and determine the value of your legacy? (Proverbs 22:7 The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender). All of us are held accountable for the time between our birth and death; we have a story to tell, a part to play and an answer to give what will be yours?

What is going to be the moral (the standard of right and wrong that was established by Jesus Christ and then taught by his disciples; based on two foundations: loving God and loving people. So, what is your standards of behavior or beliefs concerning what is and is not acceptable for you to do?) of your story, your legacy, not what others say it should be, Does it coincide with the moral code of Yashuah? If you reference the Biblical definition for Legacy, it says: That which is Passed on. It focuses on what will endure. It is about passing on things, not just money or property, but things of lasting value to those who will live on after us (like the ability to love, a well-lived productive (spiritual and natural life) and morals. Legacy, as in the Biblical sense is living an intentionally moral life and having an aim or plan of achieving goals to construct a foundation on which our children and their children can continue to build on: when we are no longer here whatever we achieve will remain for our children. (1 Timothy 6:6-7 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it).We want them to have the sturdiest foundation possible, Who can only be Yashuah, our Lord and Saviour, the Rock of our salvation. We do this by calling on the name of the LORD, ask Him for His divine guidance with the help of the Holy Spirit and hear His Word (Yashuah). We, then, add everything that has a wholesome value, longevity and all other righteous materials,  with wisdom, given by Elohim, needed for our productive and abundant life, together over a period of time: that goes into the next generations for their success. (Ephesians 5:15-17 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is). Gods got it no worry no fear.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grand. I love my family, friends and everyone I meet. But most of all I love me some YHWH Who is the lifter of my head and the light of my life's pathway. Without Him I can do nothing but with Him nothing is impossible for me to do.
