GIVE US WORDS OF WISDOM

PART IV – GIVE US WORDS OF WISDOM SO WE WILL SPEAK ONLY THE TRUTH; UPLIFTING AND ENCOURAGING, NEVER JUDGING OR BELITTLING: TO SPEAK NO EVIL

With their loose words, the ungodly, sinful, impious (not showing respect or reverence, especially to YHWH), hypocritical man, will destroy the ones who believe and follow after his words of  lies and deceit; but because of our knowledge, of YHWH’s Word, we, as His children, will escape the deception and destruction. And are used, as Yashuah’s instruments, to help rescue others and bring them to the LIGHT and TRUTH. (Proverbs 11:9 An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered).

“Words of deception have been spoken and lies have been told for the ones who continues to do it may YAH have mercy on their souls.”

To speak, with love and excellence, is one of the most powerful command over our mouth, that we can have. Spoken words were the powers, used, in the beginning of creation and still is to this day. And believe it or not, it plays an especially important role as to how our lives has gone, is going and how it will conclude; by just speaking words (of wisdom or foolishness) we can change the course of our journey’s path or the path of others. But instead of words of wisdom, knowledge and understanding (to author that which is good), a vast majority of men find their enjoyment in lying, deception and just outright sin (causing that which is bad to always surface).

YHWH (The Father, Son and Holy Spirit) took loving care to speak into existence how He wanted the world to take form and all that He wanted to occupy the earth as He willed it. Think about YHWH, the Trinity, (one God but three coeternal, Father, Son (Yashuah), and Holy Spirit). Each Divine person are distinct in their roles, yet are one substance, (essential nature), the ultimate reality that underlies all outward manifestations and change.  And each played an equally integral part in the creation, which was performed simultaneously, and seamless in its execution. YAH (the Father) spoke, (uttered words and articulated sounds, describing what He wanted), Yashuah (the Son) created, (made it happen), and the Holy Spirit gave the Breath of Life, (YHWH’s breath) to everything.  And according to what YHWH spoke and created He then proclaimed that all was good.  He spoke, with clarity, as to what man was to have dominance over. He gave man rule over all the “creatures” of the earth, not to be masters over one another. (26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” 27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Those, who pride themselves as Christian, should take the time to go back and read the “Creation.” Because to fully understand what power is behind our spoken words (beginning with the thoughts we think which creates the word we speak) which materialize either positive or negative actions.

YHWH, as we study His Word, will give us the understanding of how to use our mouth to speak words of wisdom. When this happens, the sky is the limit as to what blessings to, from and through (being used by Elohim), will come from it. His help is our solution to everything. Because we know that without the help of our Lord and Saviour and the Holy Spirit we are incapable of controlling our tongue, (dangerous little thing) (James 3:5-6 5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6 The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell) or any other part of our body. And for that very reason we are charged with being obedient in the effort of taming it (knowing that only with the help of Yashuah can this be done). It is so sad that without thinking it is wrong, with it, we praise our LORD and then turn around and talk about, demean, swear, and bring our brothers and sisters down to the lowest state we possibly can. The next time you curse your fellow man, know that we all have been made in the image of YHWH, so when we curse each other we curse YAH.

Since we have not, in our self, been able to control our spoken words, we have corrupted and almost destroyed our whole self; with Yashuah we can change our words thereby, we change our course to a righteous one. Now is the time that we us our words the way YHWH used His Word, Yashuah, for good things, (to cause to come in to being, to construct a foundation to build on, improve on, encourage, enlightening, inspire). (2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work). He has given us our guideline to follow, on a day to day basis, and included are scriptures on how the tongue is to be controlled and how to speak, (with wisdom and understanding). Regarding this teaching, we are to use our mouth to speak words of life into all things (our relationship with Yashuah, children, marriages, jobs, finances), consider, believe or do. So, it is safe to say that It is the words of our thoughts that we are to consider before we speak. (Proverbs 18:4 “A person’s words can be life-giving water; words of true wisdom are as refreshing as a bubbling brook). James 3:1- 13 1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. 2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. 11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. 13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

When we speak to others, regarding an issue they have sought our opinion on, we must be considerate of the situation or circumstance in which it entails. To try and tell others what they should or should not do requires a loving and frame of mind toward resolution, not incitement. It is very tricky and should be tactfully approached (unless it is a sibling, smile and sometimes that becomes an issue) because it could turn into a volatile situation, all because you used the wrong words.  So, consider and then think about the after affect that will come if you charge into a situation unprepared; think first, speak second. (Proverbs 16:24 Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones) .Because if we use our words without thought or consideration, we may be setting an unhealthy example or change the course YHWH has purposed for them.  And depending on the timing, if used righteously, your words could be a blessing and may cause them to go to the right (to serve YHWH), but if used in a critical, condemning, haphazardly way it may cause them to go to the left (to serve Satan). Either way can be the catalyst or determining factor as to whether friends, family or even enemies go to the left or right. (Proverbs 15:1-2 15 A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. 2 The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, But the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.

Everyone knows that when you say something out loud, and others hear, that it is out there. You can dress it up all you want, but you cannot take it back and if it very critical and demeaning it will be one of those times where it will be forgiven but lingers on in the recess of our minds: it cannot be forgotten.  We are to be careful of the words we speak and how they are spoken. Because at no time, intentionally, do we want to offend our brothers or sisters with the things we say. This could cause a rebellion against the very seed, we as saints of YHWH, through Yashuah, are trying to plant and even to the point of rebellion against YHWH.

Many people are not to the point of loving, believing, trusting, and relying on Yashuah with their whole being; it is hard to let go, to them, man is still in control. And if you are constantly bombarded, while seeking and searching, with an ungodly way of speaking as the world gives, and you do not expose yourself to a comparative source of speaking, you are prong to believe what you have been taught. Though the world’s leaders speak much rhetoric and distort the meaning of YAH’s Holy Word, man listen because it is what they want to hear. (2 Timothy 4:2-5 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry).

During this day and time, it has become easier to take hold of an offensive message and lean toward a lie rather than stand in honor of the truth. Every day we learn of those who would rather speak a lie than speak the truth. And, when they find the ones who have committed their life to Christ and are not afraid to exclaim it, they, (the ones who has no commitment to anything or anybody but self), get beside themselves and want to say we are fanatics (I would rather be a fanatic for Yashuah than for Satan). This is a form of being judgmental, which is a no, no with Yashuah. (James 4:11 Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it).

Some of YHWH’s children, do come off a little strong, but I think it is the excitement of being new in Christ or the need and want to learn more.  And I do know that because of the individuality of the relationship (the foundation is the same, Yashuah), but the approach may need a little tweaking to fit the individual, in most cases. Now I am not saying we should not to tell others the truth of how great YAH is and what all He has done, is doing and will do for us, (that is a given, we should always, throughout the day and night use our mouths to give Him praise and express our gratitude) but do it in such a way that is not judgmental of the person you are speaking with or about: them or the current issues in their life. Even if their path, at present, seems or is contrary to what is intended, at present, to what is in store for them or us for that matter, trust that Yashuah has it all under control.  What you say about someone else or what sentence you pronounce on others is going to come back to you, eventually.  That is why it is so important to speak life over all your family, friends and even your enemies: you know YHWH, through Yashuah and the Holy Spirit, will do the rest. If our words contain wisdom, inspiration and encouragement people treasure them, if they contain condemnation, hurt, and pain people will toss them aside. Gods got it no worry no fear.

Psalm 19:14 – Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

Psalm 34:13 – Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.

Proverbs 15:28 The heart of the righteous studies how to answer, But the mouth of the wicked pours forth evil.

Psalm 119:89 Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grand. I love my family, friends and everyone I meet. But most of all I love me some YHWH Who is the lifter of my head and the light of my life's pathway. Without Him I can do nothing but with Him nothing is impossible for me to do.
