TO SEE CHANGE WE MUST SHAKE OFF THE SNAKES AND CONTINUE IN CHRIST – PART II
When the snakes of this world, attaches themselves to us, their intended purpose will not be accomplished if we only keep ourselves firmly anchored in the LORD. As we go through this life and encounter what the enemy sends to stop us (divorce, wayward children, family members who do not understand, friends who turn their back on us, etc.), with strength afforded by GOD, it will not. So, as the virus rages, men’s mind become increasingly ungodly, as it is written in the Word, (In the last days… 2 Timothy 3), man is going to become so full of themselves, they turn everything natural to unnatural, we must remember and dwell on the fact that the most powerful force ever, is moving in our direction. Nothing can defeat Him, but we must stand still and be ready for His blessings, strength, and security to keep going strong in our conviction to the Word.
If God’s people are not making progress in their relationship and His assignment, for their life, the devil would not be working so hard to discourage and destroy us, taking us off our path. Do not allow others to persuade you not to take a particular course of action; in this case, prevent you from serving YAH (GOD); thru Yashuah (Jesus), we can shake off the poisonous snakes that try and attach, themselves, permanently, or even just for a little while, to us, injecting poison in our life. We must, especially today, envelope ourselves with the goodness of YAH, through His Son Yashuah.
So, let us understand that to see a change, in us, our families, communities, and the world we must first shake off snakes (problems) that are detrimental to our progress. Beside hate, bigotry, and just plain inequality, here are two of the most dangerous snakes that we usually permit to continue to stay attached, blame (not accepting your responsibility but putting it on others) and arguing (refusing to have a civil, calm conversation or discussion to solve whatever is going on). Do not get caught up in the tidal wave of blame and arguing, especially knowing that you have done nothing wrong. Because speaking to someone who refuses to hear or see the truth will only lead to a more heated conflict; these are the ones who refuses to accept their share of the blame in any situation, even if they are blatantly wrong. And taking it to the outside will often add fuel to the fire. So, when you are given the opportunity to bring these snakes to the light, speak the truth, lace it with the Word, be bold and correct; after you have faced these snakes shake them off and try not to visit them anymore. If they choose to hear and rectify the situation, that is good, if not that is their choice. Hand it over to YHWH (GOD), through Yashuah (Jesus); some will, and some will not. But do not get upset and lose your joy, nor be afraid, stay steady on your path of righteousness.
Today people’s hearts and minds are waxed cold, thinking, and engaging in wrong. And since they have given themselves over to the evils of this world, they are riding the waves of destruction, through blaming and arguing, with it. But we, as GOD’s children, must continue to receive all those who come and want to hear the Good News, continuing to preach and teach YAH’s (GOD) Word, (Yashuah, Jesus), no matter how unruly the world seems. Because remaining in the will of YHWH, (GOD), through Yashuah (Jesus), even if it is with HIM, only, by our side, as our keeper and helper will be to our best choice and the greatest reward we will ever receive. So, shake off the snakes in your life and start walking in YHWH’s (through Yashuah) righteousness; whatever it takes. Please read the scriptures below because we are not the only ones who went through stuff, for serving GOD. GODS GOT IT NO WORRY NO FEAR.
Act 28:3-10, 20-31 (NKJV)
3 As Paul gathered an armful of sticks and was laying them on the fire, a poisonous snake, driven out by the heat, bit him on the hand. 4 The people of the island saw it hanging from his hand and said to each other, “A murderer, no doubt! Though he escaped the sea, justice will not permit him to live.” 5 But Paul shook off the snake into the fire and was unharmed. 6 The people waited for him to swell up or suddenly drop dead. But when they had waited a long time and saw that he wasn’t harmed, they changed their minds and decided he was a god. 7 In that region there was an estate of the leading citizen of the island, whose name was Publius, who received us and entertained us courteously for three days. 8 And it happened that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and dysentery. Paul went in to him and prayed, and he laid his hands on him and healed him. 9 So when this was done, the rest of those on the island who had diseases also came and were healed. 10 They also honored us in many ways; and when we departed, they provided such things as were necessary.
20 For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.
21 Then they said to him, “We neither received letters from Judea concerning you, nor have any of the brethren who came reported or spoken any evil of you. 22 But we desire to hear from you what you think; for concerning this sect, we know that it is spoken against everywhere.”
23 So when they had appointed him a day, many came to him at his lodging, to whom he explained and solemnly testified of the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning till evening. 24 And some were persuaded by the things which were spoken, and some disbelieved. 25 So when they did not agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had said one word: “The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to [e]our fathers, 26 saying,
‘Go to this people and say:
“Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand;
And seeing you will see, and not perceive;
27 For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.”’
28 “Therefore let it be known to you that the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will hear it!” 29 [f]And when he had said these words, the Jews departed and had a great dispute among themselves. 30 Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, 31 preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him.
