BE IN GOOD HEALTH AND FIND PROSPERITY IN YOUR SOUL
GOD, being God, has, for every situation that affect His plan for us, the Way which would work it out as He wills it and therefore cause it to prosper us, spiritually and naturally; our very soul. As we embark on the journey, set before us, towards completeness and wholeness, if we remain faithful to Yashuah, Jesus, He will lead us on a direct and easy path: His leading, guiding, and even pruning (getting rid of the old or unnecessary baggage we have been carrying around) will guarantee the exciting, eventful, and successful journey He has for us. (3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth).
Each and every one of us is responsible for whether our soul prosper or not. You nor I can blame it on the preacher, pastor, minister, bishop, none of these that are called to deliver GOD’s message. But, as individuals, whose walk with the LORD is such, we must read the Word (Bible), to show ourselves approved (been accepted). And knowing that it is our responsibility, we should be about the business of helping it along. A good starting point would be to ask the question “how do I prosper my soul?”
Like your body, which need proper nourishment to get and stay well, your soul also needs the food or other substances necessary for growth, health, and the proper condition to prosper. Looking toward our Heavenly Father, through Jesus, we seek to and do find the proper nourishment. As the Lord has opened our eyes to the most easily perceived and understood evident, in the WORD, we can help self by following His ways.
First of all, freeing your heart of hatred, anger, grudges, and other forms of negative emotions, is a great start. We are required to do this in order to inherit the kingdom of God. Now if you have no intension to live in such a way to inherit the kingdom, continue in the way of the world, and you will not. (Galatians 5:19-21 19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God).
The next thing to do is get rid of sinful thoughts by guarding your heart and mind. Be proactive when it comes to allowing any and everything to come and stay in your mind and heart. Because as a man think and what he allows to stay, that is what he becomes. (Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it). (Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee).
In order for you to free your heart and get rid of sinful thoughts, you must feed your mind/heart, and soul with the Word of God. There is no getting round it. To achieve the life of service and blessings YHWH (GOD), through His way, Yashuah (Jesus), supplied, we must open the BOOK. And not just open it but read and study so that we can work out our salvation, through Jesus our Christ. Once you have opened your mind and heart to occupying them with the Word, it will become easier and easier to free your heart and mind and get rid of the sinful thoughts.
Last but not least we all need to practice humility and thanksgiving. We have become a nation of pride and prejudice. But for us to see our soul prosper (and that of others), we are to put away the pride that is holding us back from doing YAH’s will and humble ourselves under His mighty hands: letting go of the past and present pride, prejudices, and pains that are hindering the health and prosperity of our souls. (James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up). (Isaiah 43:18-20 18 “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert).
To find the good health and prosperity for our souls we must abide (dwell) in the love of Jesus. Because without Him we can do nothing; nothing of importance that will last. GODS GOT IT NO WORRY NO FEAR. (John 15:4-5 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing).
