GOD’S WORD, YASHUAH, JESUS, IS THE LAMP

GODS WORD IS A LAMP TO MY FEET

We have considered the Mind and Heart as two parts which are important in the development of a true relationship with our LORD. They are the main ones we need to use as guides for our feet, while on the path to righteousness.

We run to all sorts of activities in our life. We run to good and some run to evil. We run to the store, we run to work, we run to church, we run and run and run. Sometimes it is for our good, sometimes we run just to be running. Each day we are running somewhere that we feel is an important segment of our live that needs to be accomplished. Truth be told, we should stop and consider where we are running to and what is the true worth of that destination when we get there.

Running (very important today) toward the most important thing, in our lives, that we need to run, YHWH, GOD, by way of Yashuah, Jesus, our Christ is evident in our world now, today. When you look around today, you can see, by the violence, hatred, prejudice, murders, the list goes on, that we need to, in all cases, use our feet (after establishing our minds and setting our hearts) to run toward GOD, and commit ourselves to His service and the service of our brothers and sisters, as He commanded.  To make sure the feet are going in the righteous direction His lamp is needed, by all of us, to light our way. So, it is a good thing for us to ask YAH, GOD, through Jesus, to order our steps in His Word; keeping us from allowing sin to take control over us, (as so many have done these days; promoting the great influx of liars, cheaters, greed) running toward the evil in this world and closing our hearts against our brothers and sisters rather than helping them.

Because even though the mind has been made up and the heart has received what the Lord has said, going at it alone we still can be led, by the devil, toward evil. That is why the Light of God’s Lamp, Who is Jesus, His WORD, is needed to shod (or fit) us with the shoes of peace of the gospel, preparing and strengthen our resolve to run, becoming steadfast and unmovable, in the service of GOD. He will lift us up and deliver us from whatever pit we find ourselves in, give us a firm place to stand, and guide us through the storms (messes), to a place of the extraordinary and show us the righteous, abundant, and peaceful way to walk: also with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. As the whole world is in a mess, we all need to “RUN” toward YHWH, GOD through YASHUAH, JESUS, AIDED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. GODS GOT IT NO WORRY NO FEAR.

Psalm 31:8

8 You have not given me into the hands of the enemy

but have set my feet in a spacious place.

Psalm 40:2

2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,

    out of the mud and mire;

he set my feet on a rock

and gave me a firm place to stand.

Psalm 116:8

8 For you, Lord, have delivered me from death,

    my eyes from tears,

    my feet from stumbling,

Psalm 119:105

105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psalm 119:133

133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

1 John 4:20

If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

1 John 3:16-24

By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything. …

Ephesians 4:32

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Ephesians 6:15

15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

1 John 4:21

And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.

Romans 12:10

Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grand. I love my family, friends and everyone I meet. But most of all I love me some YHWH Who is the lifter of my head and the light of my life's pathway. Without Him I can do nothing but with Him nothing is impossible for me to do.
