BE REMINDED OF WHO YHWH, GOD, IS AND WHAT LOVE, MERCY, AND POWER HE WIELDS PART II
When we walk away from confronting ourselves, in the mirror of God’s word, and realizing we have a problem or without fixing our problems, we are deceiving ourselves which becomes a bigger problem. To confront your old self, in the mirror of YHWH, God’s mirror, then give your life to Christ does not mean that you sit on your laurels and rest in this most valuable accomplishment, the receipt of YHWH’s most precious gift, Yashuah, Jesus. It means stand and to honestly start serving YAH, as you profess to do, by using God’s inspired scriptures (the Bible) as taught by Jesus’, on how to be a righteous servant to Him and not man. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works).
You know, we look (seek to find) and grasp (hold on to), all around us, for “THINGS” that, without YHWH, GOD, to make it possible and hold them to their truths, are worth nothing and will not last. These are things to make us, in our minds, bigger, better, more financially sound (this number one, which leads to greed, killing, stealing, and a whole bunch of ill-gotten acts), things to make us healthier (without the benefit of eating right and exercise), things to rid our lives of that which we think is the root cause of our destitution, dilemma, and despair (people, places, and things): afraid to look inward or in the mirror of God’s Love to see the true nature of the burdens that binds you. (James 1:23-25 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed).
We work hard at choosing only the blingy things that we feel are going to make us happy. Not realizing that, aggressively going after and acquiring such material things, (knowing we do not need or cannot afford them), will lead to destruction and damnation; but it makes us feel good, if only for a time). Sometimes it is the dull and that which appears useless that will help you to reach your goal, you set for yourself, or the purpose God has for you. (Proverbs 23:4-5 4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. 5 Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven. 1 Timothy 6:9-11 9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness).
It is profitable to us, to master, with YAH’s, God’s help, in Yashuah’s, Jesus’ name, the most important things, the things you need or want but not allow them to get you twisted, on subjects that truly matters, and master you. This one subject that is at the top our list is, attempting to make an unbeliever understand the word, will, and way of YHWH, you cannot. Yah gives the of that which He wants all of us to understand. So, yelling and getting loud and upset is worthless and does you or the person(s) you are trying to persuade, any good. You plant the seed, YHWH, GOD, in Yashuah’s, Jesus’ name will make it grow. The list of these “Things” could go on and on, but you get it. It serves no lasting purpose to God, us, nor anyone else to keep acquiring things or trying to prove yourself because it will not be to your benefit (if God is not authoring it) nor will it last. (Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. 1 Corinthians 6:12 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything). GODS GOT IT, NO WORRY, NO FEAR.
