DON’T EXPECT TOO MUCH FROM THE FATHER, SON, OR HOLY SPIRIT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ENGAGED PRAYER LIFE!
Pray with gratitude, expectation, pray for patience, peace, revelation, pray without ceasing.
Express, out loud, the gratitude you have, for God’s new days of new grace and mercy, a chance to right your wrongs. Through prayer we communicate with our Father and continue to send up an excellent praise for all the wonderful things that He does for us, in Jesus’ name. We acknowledge that it is in Him who we have faith in, and trust. He wants to hear from us. Know that it is in Him we trust and place our hope. (Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. I Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing).
To understand the power of prayer we must first understand that it is one of the most powerful tools we have from God. Really, one of the most because it is our direct form of communication, we use to converse with Him: as close as we will get without coming face-to-face. And when we pray, we are afforded the opportunity to share our hopes, dreams, desires, and discouragements with Him, tell Him about what is going on in our lives, both good and bad, even though He knows the situation and have already put the answer in place. If our hearts are in the right place and we pray in truth, continually, God will keep, provide, and maintain us. (James 5:16 – Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. John 15:7 – If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Philippians Chapter 4: 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus).
As sinful and undeserving as we are, in God’s infinite wisdom, from the beginning of time, He set in motion, the repentance and restoration process; He put in place a way (Yashuah, Jesus) for man’s prayers to get through to Him. And gave us a Comforter (Holy Spirit) to help us hold on, until all is said and done; you have a contentment in troubles, trials, and tribulations and are able to carry on or you have come through your fire and the battle has been won. PRAY IS THE KEY, THROUGH IT ALL. (Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus).
Our prayers are to be done with respect, expectation, and humility; making our petition (concerns, situations, and circumstances) known to God through our lord and Saviour Jesus, our mediator or middleman, so to speak. Without Him to buffer the sin, it is futile to pray to God. He cannot be in the presence of sin. And if He would judge us according to our sinful nature, acts and deeds, none would see the goodness of His love nor eternal life. So, He sent Jesus, in the form of man, to endure the trials and temptations we would face, to understand and be example for us: Jesus was sent for that purpose only. (Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Psalm 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him).
As we pray for our revelation, in respect to our present place in our lives, submit to God’s will, put our hands in the LORD’s hand, and commit ourselves to Him, we find that we welcome our contentment in where we are in life; realizing, that “WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS US, BUT FIRST, WE MUST SUBMIT”. Philippians 4:11-13 11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
When we pray without ceasing, not as a spectacle but silent prayers all through the day (Thank you Lord, Thank You for helping with or through this or that, have mercy Lord, Bless this house, that mother/father, etc.), short but committed and truth prayers, He hear them. And when we take our mind off of self and pray for others, it gets God’s attention, and He will bless you in a way no one can. Praying and seeking, does this, we become connected to the Father through the Son, Jesus (God sees our righteousness only through Jesus’ pure righteousness and truth) not our sinful flesh. He opens our heart’s door so that God can come in and do his marvelous work in us. Even our Lord Jesus prayed with strong supplications, crying and tears to the Father for the strength to endure while on earth. Even to take away the cup YHWH, God gave Him, to be the Sheep to lead to be slaughtered for a sinful world, And HE IS GOD! So let us make prayer a priority and integral part in our daily lives; lifting up our hearts, hands, eyes, and minds in total surrender with fervent supplications to our Father which art in Heaven. Hebrews 5:7-9 7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; 8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; IN OUR LORD JESUS’ NAME WE PRAY, AMEN. GODS GOT IT NO WORRY NO FEAR.
