THE BRIDGE OF GODS LOVE IS FOREVER EXTENDING ITS WAY FOR US TO BE ALL INCLUSIVE: CROSSING OVER BOUNDARIES OF HATRED, ANGER, SELFISHNESS, AND MUSUNDERSTANDING: LOVING HIM FIRST, SELF, ONE ANOTHER
No man is an island no matter how much he thinks he is. And if he believes it, he has convinced himself of a most dangerous lie. Because whatever path, we choose in life, eventually it (good, bad, or ugly), affects the whole; all are intertwined in the circle of each other’s life. Therefore, we need not try and stand alone, but are willing to come together and help, out of love, one another. Individually, as a child of God, we try and walk the pre-laid plan (from God, according to Christ, set before us, using our gifts and talents given to each; doing what we can, alone. Sometimes we make it but sometimes we miss the mark because it takes help from our fellow man. And those things which others disapproved of, constantly express disappointment in, and did not accept of you, will be used for edification, and fall on the whole. As a collective, working together toward the good of the whole, we can do great things! (Acts 4:32-35 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need). (Leviticus 25:35 And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee). (Romans 15:2-3 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me).
It may not seem possible that a person way across the country, state, or city could (and do) have an adverse effect on your life but it is true. If you or I stopped to think and look at all that is going on in the world today, we would realize this truth. That all the actions, words, attitude, behavior, and even perception has brought an effect on, not just one or two people but the world. It’s like a ripple effect, where those who supposed to be in a place of responsibility causes it, which dwindle down, or up (depending on what direction it is going) to even the smallest and lest likely one, to make a high impact on our surrounding brothers and sisters: they are not aware that anything happened. This brings us to the question of what kind of affect you want to have? Whether you want to impact someone positively or negatively! The answer should be simple, direct, to the point, positive impact. (Ephesian 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you). HERE
From studying His Word, we know that God purposely set it up this way in order for us to be dependent on each other and help one another; to be directly (verbally and physically) and indirectly (as an example in how we carry ourselves) responsible to our brothers and sisters as Jesus was for and still is for us. We all need each other, especially the Body of Christ (those whose mission is to bring the Word to the world). It is by God’s design that we live and work, as He commanded, in reliance on one another. Even through our ups and downs, working together, we act as buffers (in Jesus’ name) for each other; there to hear, speak, and share the Truth of the good times as well as help bear the burdens of the bad. We, as a whole, are one body, a team if you will, and we function, in all areas of our lives, best, when we lay aside all crookedness, hatred, and selfishness, embrace each other, and all work together, bringing our individual gifts and talents to the table of life; using them to serve God first, then our brothers and sisters. (1 Corinthians 12:12-27 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit). We have all been called to be a part, collectively, of the body of Christ.
There is no one person or persons that God loves more than the other. And the charges He gives us are specific to us as individuals and our abilities yet important to the collective or the whole; each other’s lives. Saying that to say this, God has given us talents, some different, some the same but with different abilities to perform them; all are important because all have different functions. And without you or I, removing the boundaries of self, yet staying in our own ordained lane, while working together to carry our assigned (by YHWH, God, through Yashuah, Jesus) function, we get the results we have in the world today. (I Corinthians 12:14-26 14 For the body is not one member, but many. 15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? 18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. 19 And if they were all one member, where were the body? 20 But now are they many members, yet but one body. 21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. 22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: 23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. 24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked. 25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. 27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular).
Although, to become that well-oiled machine, God, through Jesus commanded us to be, we must first be willing to go the extra mile; that mile that most of us do not want to go or afraid to go. This mile consists of getting off your self-made island, (the mental one) open your heart to the one you thought was beneath you and start loving in spite of, in spite of all the ungodly things we have done, is doing, and will do to each other. Then willingly and ungrudgingly start exercising your God-given ability to remain steady while working with our fellow man and in your thinking toward things that are beneficial to the kingdom work for God; not lower your righteous standard, but correctly implementing them in your daily association with other saints and prospective one (all in humility). As you seek to step off your island of one and make it a goal to reach the same mind plateau, honor one another’s commitment and comments, (God will deal with the contrary actions and attitudes). And do not get caught up on being a know it all, whose opinion is always the correct one, God, through Jesus and the Holy Spirit will do the rest. Romans 12:5 (NKJV) so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Romans 12:10 (NKJV) Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; Romans 12:16 (NKJV) Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. GODS GOT IT NO WORRY NO FEAR.
