“Once a thought has been verbalized (said aloud), it cannot be taken back: Once the thought has been materialized into an action, it cannot be undone or unseen.”
Sometimes we can find ourselves captives of our own discomfort and discontent of our mind; deceiving self that we are not being able to function due to the unrest and unsettling sinfulness produced by our thoughts all day long. It has become an epidemic (sort to speak), engulfing and overpower our ability to think thoughts of love, kindness, etc. And each day it is taking place in the head of many: its cause is excessive thinking, reasoning, and to refusing to hear from God. We must use the spiritual weapons, given to us by God (His Word which consist of love, peace, joy, humility, all the righteous fruit of the spirit) to fight a determined fight to overcome our imagination and anything that goes against the Word, Will, and Way of God. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;)
You must bring your mind under subjection to the will of God, through Jesus, our Lord and Saviour, first, then you will see changes, in the way you think regarding all things, reflective of God. To do this, God tells us to lean not to our own understanding but hang all of our hopes, dreams, and truths on Him. (Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths).
When you are in doubt about the steps it will take to control what you say or do, do not be shy, ask YHWH, God, in Yashuah, Jesus’ name to help you because trying to discipline your mind, on your own, will not be easy. Because as a path that has been worn down, over the years of travel, so is the mind. For years we have thought the same old way, not regarding whether it is right or wrong just the fact that it felt good or it was what we desired to do. And after a while it becomes a natural, we automatically go toward negative thinking. But the fruit realized from it, is not a good fruit; as a matter of fact, it is probably non-productive and dangerous, spiritually, physically, and mentally. Going back to one of my favorite reminder-scripture, Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Our outsides be as a shiny new penny, pretty, beautiful, displaying all we want others to think of us, all the while we are harboring misery, strife (with self), and hatred on the inside. Yet, all will be put in perspective if we as God to give us wisdom and strength to think and do not be hasty to say the first thing on our mind but give it some serious thought, so that we realize once the thought has been verbalized (said aloud), it cannot be taken back: Once the thought has been materialized into an action, it cannot be undone or unseen. So, we must make it our determined goal, every day, to bring our mind under discipline, with the help of Yashuah, and think twice before an action (any product of it) is taken, verbally or physically. (James 1:19-20 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God).
All boils down to our not knowing what is happening to us, which leads to a lack of discipline, or we do not want to control the thoughts that are introduced in our minds, by the enemy, which leads to a lack of discipline. without ceasing in either instance we must begin to discipline our mind or as in the days of Noah, we will not be spared from destruction of the LORD, at the end of this age (Genisis 5:6 And it repented the LORD that He had mad man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart. 7: And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have mad them.; this is known but why is it so hard to control it?)
It really seems easier to think on that which is contrary to God’s Word (Jesus) rather than the spiritually clean, pure, productive thoughts we need to think on. I am led to believe that it seems to so hard to think on that which is lovely, yet thoughts of unlovely things flood our brains without provocation, mean it is part of our spiritual maturity; In order to come out of the darkness of our mind we are to be aware of what we think, discipline the mind, on purpose daily, toward the lovely, positive, progressive, thoughts. Because your thoughts (mind, heart) run your life. (Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life). One thing you can rest assured, when we commit our service to God, through Jesus, we do not need to worry, think, or try to figure out how it will be done because He will instruct us regarding the task, He give us; setting up the firm and permanent rules and regulations, to be implemented and used in whatever endeavor He has for us. (Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established).
So, instead of the thoughts taking, having, and leaving us captives, we are to take them captive with the Word of God, Jesus Christ; through Jesus, we must continually refresh, renew, and refocus our mind to think, on that which is good, pure, and remain committed to and productive in the service of God, through Jesus, our Christ. (Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things).
GODS GOT IT NO WORRY NO FEAR.
