THINK ABOUT THE PROMISES YOU MAKE TO GOD

THINK ABOUT THE PROMISES YOU MAKE TO GOD, WHILE EXPERIENCING ILLNESS, FEAR, CONFLICT, AND CONFUSION

Our promises are our bond between YHWH, God, through Yashuah, Jesus, and our fellow man. There would be a lot less conflict, confusion, sickness, and diseases if we would keep our promises to God and man.

It is amazing that when we are experiencing illness, (mind, heart, body, or soul), we make all sorts of promises; promise to walk in love, peace, patience, humility. But once we have come through that valley, we immediately put self, back on our self-made mountain top and go back to the same old routine; complaining so we remain, instead of praising to be raised from a cycle of no progress; YHWH, God wants praises.

As we go through the suffering, pains, and torments of life, Yah, God, wants us to learn and be elevated from what we experience. Thus, growing in our relationship with Him, not simply remaining in the same state we were in before He brought us through the ordeals. We do not promise God that we are going to do something and then don’t even try to do it. This is what happens to most of us (not saying, at the time, your heart is not in the right place), and it becomes a cycle of repenting and forgetting until it finally dawns on them that God, through Jesus, is trying to tell or show them something. They become so repentant, and humble during the illness but as soon as we get well, we forget promises made, and go on our little merry way until He allows something new or the same thing to visit us.

These days, as long ago, we find it necessary to constantly call on our Father, through His Son Yashuah, Jesus, promising to do all the righteous things if God would make us feel better by immediately taking the pain and hurt away. But we need to understand why YHWH allow illnesses and diseases to come upon us, His children.  It is not always to chastise but, in many ways, it is part of His strengthening process, for our benefit, in order for us to be able to stand a chance in combat while fighting this constant battle, (warring with the devil, who is trying to take over our mind, body, and soul), between good and evil.

So, the next time you are ill, going through troubles, trials, or tribulations, think about what brought you to this point. And during your time of sickness, it is better that you do not make a promise to God because He takes them seriously. It angers Him when you let your mouth cause you to sin against Him. It is better to ask for His will to be done and prepare for it to be so. Thank Him in advance and when it materializes welcome it. Because if you continue to make empty promises to our Father, you may look around and all that you think has been accomplished will be gone.

Give God true praises and all the glory and honor (knowing He can do all things) but during your time of sickness or going through certain situation, do not throw in promises you know you are not going to or try to keep.

One thing for sure, you can count on YHWH, God, through Yashuah, Jesus, to do and that is to keep all of His promises. But we must stand firm, on His promises not wavering; we may tetter but do not fall. GODS GOT IT NO WORRY NO FEAR.

Numbers 30:2

2 If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

1 John 2:3-5

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

Ecclesiastes 5:4-6

4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. 5 Better is it that thou

shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay. 6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, thatit was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?

Proverbs 20:25

25 It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry.

Joshua 23:14

14 And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grand. I love my family, friends and everyone I meet. But most of all I love me some YHWH Who is the lifter of my head and the light of my life's pathway. Without Him I can do nothing but with Him nothing is impossible for me to do.
