THE ROAD OF A CHILD OF GOD IS LONG AND HARD, WITH MANY OBSTACLES AND WOULD BE HINDERANCES THAT ARE ENCOUNTERED ALONG THE WAY. BUT GOD KNOWS YOUR HEART AND HAS DESIGNED YOUR PATH; ONE WHICH INCLUDES EVERY TRIAL, TROUBLE, TEST, TRIBULATION, AND HOW TO OVERCOME EVERYONE OF THEM. IN ORDER FOR US TO MAINTAIN A STRONG AND STEADY STRIDE, WE MUST UNDERSTAND HIS WORD, STAY IN HIS WILL, AND WALK IN HIS WAY: YOU WILL BE OKAY. (Proverbs 16:17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul).
The road of a child of God, (as they progress through the maturity of their faith) seems to get longer, rougher, and harder. Trials, troubles, and tribulations just don’t want to let up. They are around every corner, in front, and on either side; they come from places you would never think of. This is especially true when it comes to those close to you (family and friend) and the everyday involvements which you use to help you survive (church, job, school). When faced with trials, troubles, tests, and tribulations, (those things we encounter, all through life, which challenges us and makes our road rough) we need to take a knee and look up – not down or around and say “But God’s will be done.” Find scriptures in “The BOOK” to reference your particular storm and ask YHWH, God, in Yashuah, Jesus’ name to help. He may not (most likely) get rid of all our problem(s), (some are used to prove us) but He will surely see you through them. He will pick you up, dust you off (forgive you), turn you around (renew your direction), and place your feet on solid ground toward righteousness and steady us as we walk along His way. Even though the road gets rough and at times your way seems so cloudy it is hard for you to see God’s goodness, stay true. He will give you a new outlook on life and the noise that comes out of your mouth will be one that is melodic and beautiful to His ears because He has given you a brand-new song to sing. And you will give a brand-new praise to the One who brought you through and Who will sustain you. (Psalm 40:1-3 40 I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord).
We should have established the fact that there is no one who can see your picture which YHWH, God, has placed in front of you. In knowing this, we know not to get caught up in worldly stupidity. But become committed and continue in God’s way. So, when people show their concern or indifference it is good, but it is not such that should cause you to sway from the Word; in essence their opinion (especially if contradictory to the Word) does not matter. Be extra careful when everyone you meet thinks highly of you because to please the masses you will need to fall to the level of the world; that is the last thing you would want to do. So, think of other people’s opinion of you in this regard, it is your life, your relationship, and your reward; as far as anyone else’s opinion, it is not wrong to seek the opinion of one who shares the same love you have for our Father. But for those who put their opinion before God, you can take it with a grain of salt or a pinch of pepper, either way it still boils down to whether or not you are in God’s will. And always consider, every day, yourself, whether you are consistent with the will of God. Because regardless of our station in life, God is the one in the end of it all, Who will judge and is judging all we do, so all the what we do in the form of our service is really for Him. This, my fellow saints, is staying on the highroad, which is the road of God – the one where, putting true and loving effort in your service for Him will cause all to work out for your good. Even when you fall (no matter how many times) get up again, put and keep your faith and trust in Him. (Proverbs 29:25-26 25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. 26 Many seek the ruler’s favour; but every man’s judgment cometh from the LORD. Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; Mark 12:14 And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? Luke 6:26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets).
Don’t be worried about those things that you cannot change but change the things God, through Jesus, has given you the power to do so (your mind, how you view things, how to live, breath, and walk in Jesus’ way (loving, kind, truthful, sure-footed in The Word, all the godly fruit of the spirit). (Galatians 5:22-23 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law). When you allow the devil to be your constant companion and are led by your flesh (anger, hat, lies, backbiting, fear – all the ungodly fruit of the spirit), your life will continue to be distorted, rocky, and hard to maneuver through, as you give in to the challenges. (Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God). Thus, releasing all hopes of happiness. But God can release us from all the negative, hurtful, etc., stuff that goes on in our life, if He so desires and if we are willing to open up and let Him in our lives. God will test you but He will also keep temptation from overwhelming you when it come; and it will come. (Revelation 3:10 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth).
You see, there are actions we must take to correct self in order to stay fit to fight and stay on the high road and live up to God’s intended purpose for us. The test God put before us is to see how we respond. Will it with faithfulness or through their own wisdom act out in disobedience. Never will He test us out of condemnation or anger. Because what He is desiring to do is pull out of us all the negative and open our eyes to the hindrances confronting us, on our road of life, and get us to see the TRUTH; to be condemning and angry will defeat the purpose of Him testing us; the harder the test, the higher we climb. And know this that when God is testing you, you will know it is a test from Him (might not be at the onset, but in the middle or even when you are at the end; but you will know) because if the end result is one of growth, that’s the indication it is from the Father. But if you remain in the same position or fork on the road of that situation or circumstance, then you will get the privilege of taking it again and again until you pass. So, understand this, that when you fail (Lord help us), God is not punishing you but showing you what needs to get out of His way (hate, anger, the flesh, period) or what we need to get more of (love, kindness, generosity, compassion) so He can give you a passing grade. God is so faithful and because of His Son, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus, He will always, when you ask Him, give you more times to take, over and over, – that segment which needs to be strengthen in or released out of your life. Now that’s true, faithful, love from our Father Who is in heaven looking down and loving us in spite of ourselves. (Revelation 3:10, Genesis 22:1 22 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. Psalm 66:10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried), Zachariah 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God). Once you have determined yourself to become a child of YHWH, God in Yashuah, Jesus’ name, stay committed (even when you fall) get up (this is the part we have the problem with) continue in love while you construct your life to become a sample of our Lord Jesus. And then, very important, tether yourself to the hem of His garment, hold on tight and don’t let go. A change is coming, and it is coming real soon, one that you have been praying and hoping for, in Jesus’ name. Who better can you ask to be your running mate in this race called life; on a road that is full of stumbling blocks, to get you to fail. But God says you have been faithful all these years and He has never failed you yet so what makes you think He will now. Your road to salvation is going to be rough but walking, jogging, running along it with Jesus is so worth it. GOD’S GOT IT NO WORRY NO FEAR.
