WITH A STRONG HAND…

WITH A STRONG HAND GOD WILL SEE YOU THROUGH ALL YOUR WILDERNESSES WHEN YOU RELEASE YOURSELF FROM THE BONDAGE OF YOUR EGYPT.

Exodus 13:9, 14, 21 and 22 and 14:25-31

We know that our situations and circumstances, troubles, trials, and tribulations are not the physical land of Egypt. Yet we know, that when it comes to any type of bondage, mistreatment, hatred, lies, and deception, it could be equated to it; all is the same; a direct hit at God’s love; His children. A type of Egypt is a place we find ourselves in; times, where you find that you and your mind are coming under a direct hit from Satan and is being controlled or trying to be controlled by someone or something other than God or yourself. It is a deceptive position, on your part, which gives you an illusion and a complacency “this is better than nothing” attitude toward life and the art of living it. But when you call on God (Hallelujah) and ask Him for the revelation of His purpose for you, with a strong hand He will bring you through everything you are going to face in and out of your Egypt. It is true that when you follow God’s law and accept His Word (Jesus), He will allow you to go in, but He will bring you out of all types of bondage (your Egypt). then lead us through the valleys and meet us on the mountain top. He will guide you day and night on the path He has set before you; the path of righteousness; the path that leads you out of your Egypt (wayward child, unstable marriage and mind, problem on job, financial worries, etc.). And on every day of your breakthrough, you should always acknowledge the hand of our LORD. You should be reminded, daily, of what God, through Jesus, has done for you. Observing the goodness of what God has done for us will be a sign for us to remember God’s law; never forgetting all that He has brought, is bringing, and will bring us through. With His strong hand He has redeemed you and me from sin, error, or evil – brought us out of Egypt.  (Exodus 13:9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord’s law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt).

You see, the majority of us are like the children of Israel. We have become agitated with the way the life we live and have all but settled for, the lies we are told, and the course we have chosen. But instead of delving into the Word to get to know how much we are loved, by God, and how powerful God truly is toward and to us, we start murmuring and complaining about what we gave up in our Egypt (bondage); not realizing or accepting the abundance of life, through Jesus, our Father has set before us, with one choice, the choice to serve Him, YHWH, only, putting nothing or no other gods before Him. God gave this command and to prove the passion of His promises, He will turn away from us and allow us, like the children of Israel continue to wander through our wilderness (while steadily looking back at Egypt); even after being set free by God, from the Egyptians bonds, (the worlds bonds, todays bonds, are just as strong because they continued to maintain a bondage mind-set (so do most of us) until all who would not conform to the will of God perished. They perished because they had forgotten God, as it is today. Even after all the things He had done for them, the danger He had carried them through, hunger, weather, signs, and wonderful miracles God showed them and performed for their well-being, they still would not place all their hopes and fears at God’s feet and leave them there. So, is it with us today. We, due to lack of faith, have come to a place of uncertainty, brought on by the world’s point of view and our inability (since we refuse to see Jesus) to grasp our Lord Jesus by the hand and let Him lead us through.

You, me, and everyone else have found ourselves, at one season in our life or another, have found the need to choose in our walk with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, which direction we are to go. When you are coming out of a bondage situation and embarking on an unknown journey, the amazingly awesome one with Christ, it is looking back at the previous stress, strain, tiredness, topped with fear and frustration we, as the children of Israel, began to crumble. So, instead of welcoming the refreshing love of God to surround us and keep us, we steadily allow our Egypt (finances, marriages, children, church, jobs, etc.) to cause us to look back, to relapse. But we must refrain from the old habits of worrying, anger, disappointment, stress, and put all of our hope and trust in God, through our Lord Jesus. Following Jesus, whom God sent for an example to us, keeps you from doing, feeling, or indulging in something and especially from following a passing impulse which you know are contrary to God’s Will; the ones that are thrown at you daily by the world; it happens when we do not put our hope and trust in Jesus. The foundation of our faltering should not be re-visited to stay but to reconnect with the Holy Spirit, our guide and then with an urgency move forward; not follow behind those who are not trying nor will ever try to do the will of our Father. God is the only one who should be the captain of your soul and He will lead you all the way to heaven. Amen. (Numbers 14:1-4 1 And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night. 2 And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! 3 And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt? 4 And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt).

(Deuteronomy 30:17-20 17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; 18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: 20 That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them).

So, we must not hang around the tables of Egypt (those that have done us wrong) waiting for another crumb of false hope, which keeps our eyes opened to lies and close to the truth. We must be committed to our calling and the purpose that has been presented to us by God. Since we are being fought with the threat of bondage on every side, (mind, body, heart, and soul) and if we do not put our hope and trust in the LORD, we will become subjugated to sin and evil every day; seeing it as a norm. It is getting worst. But God will be our strong hand and only He will bring us out of our Egypt (Exodus 13:14 And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the Lord brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:)

Many have become so entangled in this world’s lifestyle, that the wilderness has shut them in and away from the Word, Will, and Way of God. But God says for us to hear, speak, walk, and honor His Word (Jesus) and He will bring us out of our Egypt (whatever it may be) and heal our sin-sick minds, bodies, hearts, and souls, while guiding us lovely, into the land He promised us. Amen. (Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee).

GOD’S GOT IT NO WORRY NO FEAR.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grand. I love my family, friends and everyone I meet. But most of all I love me some YHWH Who is the lifter of my head and the light of my life's pathway. Without Him I can do nothing but with Him nothing is impossible for me to do.
