Christ is our Redeemer; we are redeemed. And with this redemption comes the permission to live a full and blessed life; authored by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 62:12 And they will call them, “The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord”; And you will be called, “Sought out, a city not forsaken.”
What does it mean, to be redeemed? The process has already happened. Our only part in it is to commit our life to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord and redeemer.
Redeemed: 1. the action of saving or being saved from sin, error, or evil. 2. the action of regaining or gaining possession of something in exchange for payment or clearing a debt. Jesus, our Lord, and Saviour is our Redeemer, and He did this for us. He regained possession of our soul by going to the cross. He paid our debt, in full, when He went to the cross and exchanged His life for our sins. Therefore, now, and forever for those who are willing to come to Him, are redeemed; saved from sin, error and evil. (Isaiah 44:22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.”)
To truly know the sincere meaning of the word redeemed and the huge effect it has on your life, you must first believe that it is in the power of God’s Word, Jesus, our Lord, and Saviour. It is His protection, and His perfect process which it took to facilitate the covering of sin for all of our lives. It is through His death, with His blood He has overcome sin, evil, and the errors of our ways and the worlds wicked workings. We must understand that God’s love, grace, and mercy is so great toward us that He sent His only Son for this assignment. No amount of any other sacrifice, in any form, was pure enough for this job; to redeemed us. It is only through Jesus, that we are saved and as His children will know and declare, without reservation or hesitation, His name at all times.
The ones who are dangling on the outskirts of life, today, as it was in yester years, are looking at the ones who are professing to be God’s children. And to be honest we are the ones whom they are to look at and not only look but want what you have, a hope in Jesus; be loving, happy, joyous, kind, encouraging, and prosperous in spirit, mind, body, heart, and soul. Allowing our light within to shine without for others to see the redemption of our soul. But you must be willing to give up the fractured fictious life presented to you by the world, the devil. And be willing to accept God as your God and Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and believe what He did on the cross for you is true. Those of us, who get up every morning with the intention of letting our light truly shine, are inevitably faced with more obstacles than usual. This is when you bring back to memory the fact that you have Someone who cared enough about your past, present, and future transgressions to take care of them once and for all. Jesus did this for you. Just know, for sure, that He has given you a chance to come out of slavery; of mind, heart, body, and soul. All any of us must do is acknowledged the fact that we need God in all we think, say, and do. And to accomplish this we are to acknowledge the truth, that we need a correction of our mind so we will see that Jesus is the only redeemer. He accomplished this place of honor and glory by the shedding of His blood, on the Cross, bought, all that will come to Him, back out of slavery. (Leviticus 25:47-49 47 And if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by thee, or to the stock of the stranger’s family: 48 After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him: 49 Either his uncle, or his uncle’s son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself).
We are not redeemed with that which can perish but with the everlasting, pure, righteous blood of God’s Lamb, Yashuah, Jesus Christ. Aren’t you glad that Jesus became the redeeming Lamb for you and went through the redemptive process so that we would have a chance at life as God would have us to. And that we no longer would have to continue to make animal sacrifices, which suffers death; rot and decay. And because of our flesh, we would and still can’t go through this process; it warrants an undefiled body, one that no man possesses; it was meant, from the beginning, by our God Who is the Father, a task for our Lord and Saviour only, because He is the Son. The ones who finally commits to the call of Christ and walk in this truth are now or will be soon, reaping the benefits of a redeemed life; love, peace, prosperity, and joy.
So, know that we have been redeemed with justice because our Lord and Saviour has taken away all of our sins (we only need to ask and submit). He has crowned us with His lovingkindness and compassion. And to those who repent, righteousness has been given. Also, the permission and power to move forward, by our God, through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, to live and walk in a life of abundance; knowing that He has redeemed you from all that comes against you, death, war, or the sword; He call you by your name. You have been redeemed! You are His!
