Psalm 118:24 – This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Isaiah 50:4 – The Lord God has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with a word him who is weary. Morning by morning he awakens; he awakens my ear to hear as those who are taught.
Morning is considered the time when the dust has settled, and we see the path a little clearer. But as you face today’s troubles, trials, and tribulations, this can be considered the nighttime in our lives and you may wonder at times, how will you be able to endure. It can and usually is a daunting summation, that you may form, when you see all that is happening, not only at home but around the world. But YHWH, God, does not hold His anger toward us, forever and He had, has, and always will have everything in His hands, and under control. Therefore, if we think about how His mercy and grace has kept us over the years, we can be at peace. (Psalm 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning). (Psalm 90:14 O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days). (Psalm 59:16 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble).
We rise early in the morning to get our day started with a Good God. I usually add a good cup of coffee. Who made the coffee? It is by all means my favorite beverage (not that coffee is that which have given us life) but it can (because of God’s grace), help lift the head in the morning. Who made the brand-new day? Who chooses to wake you up every morning? Who protects and keeps you all through the day, every day and night, every night? The last three questions are pertaining to my favorite, one and only GOD. It is with His thoughts, spoken word, and His will that we are. And to be able to get up in the morning, with a sure (one that never fails) measure of mercy and grace is really and truly beyond words; but we try. We are anchored in Him, as we choose to start our day off on the good foot, with and in His Word, written, and materialized. (Psalm 130:6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning).
When you spend time with the Father in the morning, it strengthens your faith; it is the best time of the day; give Him the honor, glory, and praise so you can connect with Him to get your thoughts and heart in a true and righteous place. To have your morning moment with God does not take a whole production. One thing about having your morning moment with Him is that it is simple. You can sit and talk, read or write, meditate in total silence, while giving yourself over to Him and listening for and to His voice. These morning moments help to uncover your faults, fears, and fictions. They allow you to be aware of false doctrines and guide you down the clear path that is set by God, in Jesus’ name, for your life. Then you will understand and be able to keep His Word (follow Jesus’ example), do His Will, and walk in His Way. (Psalm 119:104-106 104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. 105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. 106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments).
Just to be able to be (first thing in the morning) in the presence of the One who really cares and is concerned with you, totally, is a breath of fresh air. YHWH, God is that breath of fresh air. He wants you and I to get in His presence, every morning, so that we can put on His whole armor and receive ammunition to begin a healthy and whole day and go through it without flailing, falling or forfeiting an abundance life to the enemy; not staying down but getting up and fighting with all power and protection received from Him. (Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.).
Even if you do not feel the getting-up part of morning, because you feel God has done you wrong, by the time you finish with your morning coffee with the LORD, you will be refreshed and energized. He set truth, honesty, justice, goodness, and virtue before us to help make righteous and sound choices during the day. He listens, hears, and reacts. Unlike our fleshly friends who listen, hear, and then carry. God is the greatest friend you or I will ever have. And to get up with Him every day is not only a blessing, but it is a privilege and a pleasure. Continue to hold on to His loving and mighty hand until morning! (Psalm 88:13 But unto thee have I cried, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee).
Praise the LORD in the morning! And as you do, thank Him for the rest of the day. Because morning only marks the beginning of the time allotted you, to do good; serving and thinking of God and others. It helps you to reflect over the past and prepare for your future. With God involved, it brings light to much of your darkness (some God leaves us for teaching and learning purposes) and help you to map out a plan for the day. Yes, morning moments are glorious times, especially when you invite God to have a cup of coffee with you. (Psalm 18:28-30 28 For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. 29 For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. 30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him).
GOD’S GOT IT, NO WORRY NO FEAR.
