MORALITY AND LEGACY – Part II

MORALITY AND LEGACY – Part II

As we go along, each day, we or using our morals to create, shape and leave our legacy. And it is helpful to understand that whatever you believe, you should know this, that we all have a part to play in making and helping the world to be a better place. Every little accomplishment or failure that we have, to ensure our legacy, has a big part to play in how the world is shaped. And no matter what others say, we must continue to be steady in our walk with Yashuah. Because every action we take to walk holy before the LORD, there will be a reaction from those who do not seem to want to understand Yashuah and the way of our Father. So, with sanctification in your heart toward Yashuah, and a good conscience, be ready to answer any man who ask why you have hope, in the directions that our Lord and Saviour gives. You can be at peace knowing that it is better to suffer, doing the will of YHWH, than for doing evil. (1 Peter 3:15-17 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. 17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing).

Therefore, whenever each of us do something, whether big or small, it creates a domino effect. It is unknown to us, as to how our mere action is affecting the world’s stage, but its effect is felt throughout the whole. And as the children of YHWH we must continue to do what is righteous so that the love of Elohim can be seen through us; being the salt (continuing on in Christ no matter what) and always  letting our light shine so YA will get the glory (Matthew 5:13-16 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven). We have been given a charge, as YHWH’s children, to be an example before a sin sick world, in Yashuah’s name. Because the moral legacy we leave will be a building block for future generations and a testimony of the price Yahuah paid for us to even be able to leave one. He did this by giving them a guide (Holy Spirit) to help strengthen them in Yashuah’s name. Did you know that it takes only a little bit of faith to raise a whole lot of necessary stuff up and unnecessary stuff out of our life; depending on what we need. (Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another). (Galatians 5:7-9 You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion is not from him who calls you. A little leaven leavens the whole lump).

You may ask what all of this has to do with leaving a morale and righteous legacy. Well, our lives are like onions and vines, full of layers on which, through the years, we continue to create more and more. And vines that runs throughout intertwining with others causing ideal or not so ideal circumstances. We are either increasingly building a good and righteous foundation for our legacy to be strong, or one that is deteriorating as fast as it is built. But in ordered for those layers to remain solid and our moral legacy sure, our foundation must be built on Yashuah, the Rock.  He is the only source, that is solid and sure enough to hold every good thing together, bad thing at bay, or ugly thing in its place, that comes our way. So, if we go to Yashuah and set our heart on Him, we will see that, with Him we do not need to worry about what type of legacy we will leave or life we will live; His plan has already been laid and proven by the ones who chose it; walked it, and went before us. That is what we need.  We do not need something (man) that falls apart at the first sign of trouble; and stand up only when our lives are calm, and everything is going well. (Proverbs 13:20 Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm). Gods got it no worry no fear.

LOVE CONQUERS ALL.

MORALITY AND LEGACY

MORALITY AND LEGACY – Part I

As the sun rise and sets so does the days of our lives. Sound familiar. It is true. We are born, we live, love, laugh, cry, and die. And in between our birth and death are where all the other emotions and mysteries of our life unfold. So, the question I put to you today is are you going to allow someone else to dictate the moral of your story and determine the value of your legacy? (Proverbs 22:7 The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender). All of us are held accountable for the time between our birth and death; we have a story to tell, a part to play and an answer to give what will be yours?

What is going to be the moral (the standard of right and wrong that was established by Jesus Christ and then taught by his disciples; based on two foundations: loving God and loving people. So, what is your standards of behavior or beliefs concerning what is and is not acceptable for you to do?) of your story, your legacy, not what others say it should be, Does it coincide with the moral code of Yashuah? If you reference the Biblical definition for Legacy, it says: That which is Passed on. It focuses on what will endure. It is about passing on things, not just money or property, but things of lasting value to those who will live on after us (like the ability to love, a well-lived productive (spiritual and natural life) and morals. Legacy, as in the Biblical sense is living an intentionally moral life and having an aim or plan of achieving goals to construct a foundation on which our children and their children can continue to build on: when we are no longer here whatever we achieve will remain for our children. (1 Timothy 6:6-7 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it).We want them to have the sturdiest foundation possible, Who can only be Yashuah, our Lord and Saviour, the Rock of our salvation. We do this by calling on the name of the LORD, ask Him for His divine guidance with the help of the Holy Spirit and hear His Word (Yashuah). We, then, add everything that has a wholesome value, longevity and all other righteous materials,  with wisdom, given by Elohim, needed for our productive and abundant life, together over a period of time: that goes into the next generations for their success. (Ephesians 5:15-17 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is). Gods got it no worry no fear.

WHY DO WE NEED WISDOM?

WHY DO WE NEED WISDOM? IT SET US UP FOR A GOOD LIFE AND IT SAVES US FROM EVIL.

Definition of Wisdom – Wikipedia

Wisdom, sapience, or sagacity is the ability to think and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense and insight. Wisdom is associated with attributes such as unbiased judgment, compassion, experiential self-knowledge, self-transcendence and non-attachment, and virtues such as ethics and benevolence.

Now, for us to gain knowledge and have clear understanding of the things that are going on and to come, in our personal lives and around us, we must first get wisdom. Wisdom is the quality of one, applying his experience, knowledge, and good judgment, (showing common sense, prudence, understanding, insight, soundness, saneness, and advisability) when confronted with the requirement to perform an action or make a decision.

You may think that you are alone, in finding true wisdom (wisdom of YHWH), but you are not. We all can, sometimes, find our self in a state of false truths (truths we convince our self is true simply because we want it to be) and this is where wisdom comes in to play. We must seek it in Yashuah’s name so that it is the truth and can be used as designed. If we are sincere about wanting to be wise enough to serve the LORD with whole heart, we must have wisdom. It does not take an army to round it up we only need ask our LORD to help us find it. This is one of His most delightful specialty, making His children wise in the Word as well as in the world. And when He gives it to us, we, hold on to it, cultivate it, do not let it waste away: we must use it. (James 1:5 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you).

As we obtain wisdom, we can encourage our self and others with the message of Christ; our daily bread (everything we need). We will allow it to flow through our mind, body, heard and spirit, to bring us the knowledge, joy and understanding, given by Elohim, needed to weather any storm. It will inspire our songs of glory, strengthen our weak and weary hearts to beat on, inside, as a drum in the middle of war, across this worn and desolate land. And it will be our banner of praise and gratitude as we go about doing good, singing songs and teaching and admonishing (warn (someone) of something to be avoided). (Colossians 3:16 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts).

LOVE AND WISDOM ARE A POWERFUL COMBINATION.

So, let us be noticeably clear that it is through Yashuah’s help and the ability, He gives us, that we acquire wisdom, when we ask; that it becomes an integral part of our life’s fabric.  He opens our minds to understand and apply knowledge which helps develop skills (already in us), so that we become wise in the way of the LORD. We can set a course of love, joy, peace, and happiness knowing that the LORD our God has granted us the much-needed wisdom, to help us find our way, while helping others along our journey. Then, when we are faced with the daily situations and circumstances, we can consider, without quick judgement or unrighteous one, what course of action, or decision need to be applied. It is with the wisdom, gained, that we become dependent on the Lord, fixed in our belief, true in our trust, anchored with His love.  God’s got it no worry no fear.

Proverbs 2 (MORAL BENEFITS OF WISDOM)

1 My son, if you accept my words

and store up my commands within you,

2 turning your ear to wisdom

and applying your heart to understanding—

3 indeed, if you call out for insight

    and cry aloud for understanding,

4 and if you look for it as for silver

and search for it as for hidden treasure,

5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord

and find the knowledge of God.

6 For the Lord gives wisdom;

from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

7 He holds success in store for the upright,

he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,

8 for he guards the course of the just

and protects the way of his faithful ones.

9 Then you will understand what is right and just

    and fair—every good path.

10 For wisdom will enter your heart,

and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.

11 Discretion will protect you,

    and understanding will guard you.

12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men,

from men whose words are perverse,

13 who have left the straight paths

    to walk in dark ways,

14 who delight in doing wrong

and rejoice in the perverseness of evil,

15 whose paths are crooked

and who are devious in their ways.

16 Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman,

from the wayward woman with her seductive words,

17 who has left the partner of her youth

and ignored the covenant she made before God.[a]

18 Surely her house leads down to death

and her paths to the spirits of the dead.

19 None who go to her return

or attain the paths of life.

20 Thus you will walk in the ways of the good

and keep to the paths of the righteous.

21 For the upright will live in the land,

    and the blameless will remain in it;

22 but the wicked will be cut off from the land,

and the unfaithful will be torn from it.

YASHUAH HAS MY BACK

KNOW WHO HAS YOUR BACK AT ALL TIME

In the moment of Light, life can be changed to be wonderful: even in the middle of your darkest storms. Belief in the Son, Who is the Light. When you have sat in darkness for so long the LIGHT can be difficult to bear. But when you are in a state of darkness: worry, fearfulness and even anger, go to the One Who is the Light that is capable of dispelling the darkness: His love is ever present; His answers are true; His care is eternal; a relief so sweet.

Psalm 23

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Gods got it no worry no fear. In Yashuah’s name. Amen.

LOVE

If we base our life on Agape love=Elohim’s Love, we will find our selves in possession of all the attributes, needed, of a person worthy to be called a child of YAH. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres). This is the love we must have to serve our YAH with truth and righteousness. Versus the imperfect love of the flesh (an intense feeling of deep affection), on which we attach words and sling them around like nothing, meaning nothing. Only to get a result that benefit self; that is not right because love see the good in everyone and want to be kind and loving to everyone.

As children of the Most High, we must learn how to be quick to show love, even if you must look very hard to see it, continue looking, t is there. (1 Peter 4:8-11 8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging. 10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen).

Love is the essence of YHWH; Who is all that is good and glorious; merciful and mighty; faithful and true; gracious and pure; perfect in all His ways; He cannot tell a lie; and is impartial and forgiving. His love for us is greater than most of us will ever know. Because we will not stop the hate long enough to know the Agape Love, the love that can be manifested, within in us, with a simple prayer (Lord I believe and receive Your Son, as my Lord and Saviour, Yashuah). But if we continue this path of wanting to see harm come to one another, we will never come to our senses and get in the presence of YAH long enough to receive the revelation of Truth: through the YHWH’s Love. Only when that happens (give in to the will of Yashuah) will we understand the strength, power, pure and perfect love it has behind it. And with this love, because it is the love of YHWH, which has taken many forms throughout our lifetime, and will continue to be shaped into whatever He know we need.

So, we can make this world so much better but first we must LOVE as our Father in heaven love us. And stop trying to bend Him to fit our will but we bend to fit His for us.(Romans 5:2-5 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us).

God’s got it no worry no fear.

STOP HURRYING; BE STILL AND LISTEN TO YHWH’S INSTRUCTIONS THROUGH YASHUAH, GUIDED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

STOP HURRYING AND WASTING YOUR TIME; BE STILL AND LISTEN TO WHAT YHWH’S INSTRUCTIONS THROUGH YASHUAH, GUIDED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

Our world is nothing but hustle and bustle. Running here and there as if there is no tomorrow, never a complete moment of rest; to think or consider. I am not saying that tomorrow is not promised to any of us, but saying all that we know and can do, in the service of the LORD, we should make it our priority. It is a great idea to set aside, every day, time (15 or 20 minutes, something) to stop and commune with YHWH, through Yashuah, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, in everything we do, consulting Him first, while we have a chance. It is impossible for one to love others if the only thing he can see is his own outcome. (Proverbs 19:2 2 Desire without knowledge is not good— how much more will hasty feet miss the way!)

But our day usually begin and end, without thinking of going to YHWh, through Yashuah, with our ideas, thoughts, or intentions of what we are to do; we only thinking of what we want. As we go through our day, we find time to try, in our on effort, and complete only that which is important to the plan we have for our life; it cannot wait. And when we run into roadblocks we complain and do not understand why things do not go as “we plan.” Wait on the LORD, He will give you the extra boast you need to do whatever is good and He will do it righteously. (Proverbs 21:5 5 The plans of the diligent lead to profit    as surely as haste leads to poverty).

Take for instance this mess with the virus. Sure, everyone need money to live but we need Yashuah, more to maneuver through theses time so we can truly live. But amid all the haste we began to lose sight of who it is that is the mainstay in it all and what is important and will last.  Because if we honestly believe in His word and the promises He made, for such a time as this, He will reveal His message of salvation to us and all that needs to happen, for us, until we reach it. (Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand).

I know It gets hard, in times like this, for you to believe in YWH as being the one and only God; who does exists and is all powerful, all knowing, seeing hearing; He cares for and protects us (we must do our part and talk to Him and remind Him; although He knows, of the promises He made to us) if we would serve Him. And that everything that is going on today is going to work out for the good, to those who love Him and call on His name. (Deuteronomy 31:6 6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you).”

So slow down, listen for the voice of YHWH. It is small and still, and we must listen closely to hear it over the loudness of the world; He does not shout. (1 Kings 19:11-13 11 Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; 12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice). Gods got it no worry no fear.

OUR CONSTANT HELP

OUR CONSTANT HELP

If we would wait on the Lord and honor Him with psalms, songs, prayer and praise; always believing and trusting, never ashamed; being loving and kind to each other, our Lord will be our refuge, He will cover us with His mighty wings. He will hide us in His pavilion and keep and protect us from all forms of dangers. With love, grace, favor, and mercy, He set up our day, hoping that we will walk His anointed path that He has prepared for us. But when we do not, He still hear us when we call and give His angels charge over us to keep us from falling, too hard, in our own ways.

This Psalms is one that speaks volume regarding the many ways YHWH, through Yashuah, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, can be a constant help(if we invite Him into our hearts) in our life; to help us maneuver through every valley; climb every mountain; brave the sea of being overwhelmed; withstand the winds that blows troubles, trials or tribulations our way; and even bear our cross in life that we are to bear (situations, circumstances). For wisdom, knowledge, and the understanding of YAH’s amazing, mercy and grace read Psalms 91.

 PSALMS 91

91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

God’s got it no worry no fear.

WHAT MUST WE DO TO MAKE THIS COUNTRY WILL BE GREAT AGAIN?

WITH ALL THE HATE, PREJUDICE, MALICE, ANGER AND SELFISHNESS, DO YOU ACTUALLY THINK YHWH IS READY TO PUT THINGS BACK THE WAY THEY WERE GOING? I THINK NOT! THINK ON YASHUAH BECAUSE THERE HAS TO BE A CHANGE.

Isn’t it amazing that among all this hate, bigotry prejudice a. ignorance etc., things that were under the surface? Things that were always there, because of and due to disbelief in the Father and Yashuah, but waited for the perfect opportunity through man, to rear its ugly head: hate being the forerunner of all the negative and evil attributes of a people gone bad in this beautiful world, which YAH created for all to enjoy.  Hate, selfish greed and blind ignorance (with a peek, here and there, to make sure the ones aimed at are getting “what’s coming to them”) has brought about an apparent social distancing from each other and social disbelief in YHWH; really in any god, man have set himself on the throne of his own imagination and proclaim himself his own god. But be at peace, all those that believe in YHWH, through Yashuah (the Lord our God) because a reckoning, a cleansing, a revelation, is coming soon. In this scripture, YHWH is acknowledging all His sons and daughters and the fact that He created all to serve Him, not just a special few. The key is “to everyone who is called by His name, whom He created, formed, made; when Yashuah came and died it opened the gate for everyone; no matter the color of your skin, your nationality, greed, etc.; He said all. (Isaiah 43:6-7 6 I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, And My daughters from the ends of the earth— 7 Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.)” (Romans 10:13 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.)” This world and all the nations were created for all people (those who outwardly serve YAH and those who do not acknowledge Him.  (“For there is no respect of persons with God.” “And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.” “But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. “These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.” Proverbs 24:23, “To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.” Proverbs 28:21, Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:” Acts 10:34, “For there is no respect of persons with God.” Romans 2:11, “And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.” Ephesians 6:9, “But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.” Colossians 3:25, “And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:” 1 Peter 1:17.

What really gets me about this whole business of waiting and wanting to make our country great again and to be restored to its original self, is the way, those who are oppose to the whole, is trying to make it happen. Their way of thinking must end. (Hebrews 4:16 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh). And for the ones who go around saying make our country great again, have to understand that in order for YAH to show us mercy and bring about this change, we must be willing to have mercy on our fellow man: this is not happening. Minds and hearts must be open to the Word, Will, and Way of YHWH, through Yashuah, led by the Holy Spirit.

The country has always been great. It has never changed, it is the occupants, in the country, that has screwed it up. Do we not understand (that’s another problem, we don’t use common sense; we catch the most negative, hateful, hurtful thing we see and hear and run with it, causing unnecessary pain and despair) that unless the occupants become great, we will never realize true greatness.

We must first tear down this old foundation, on which it was build. Man build on a negative, foundation (sand): constructed by himself to please himself: not of YHWH. It consists of ignorance, prejudice, anger, maliciousness, faultfinding, irresponsibility, etc.; all the evil fruits of the spirit.  We must replace it with the Rock, LOVE (the good fruits) and watch it flourish again. (Matthew 7:24-27 24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it).

We must learn to love the one who gave us life and the world to live in: YHWH, first. Then we must learn to look at ourselves, get to know and love self and feel special (not in a vain way but a loving, caring, spiritual way) about self. Because you cannot give away that which you do not have for YHWH and self. Once you have mastered these two, you will be able to love others, as yourself. (Mark 12:30-30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.)” So, please make sure you know and show the righteous kind of love to one another; not for show, or out of pure obligation but be able to genuinely love one another: YAH can tell. Because if we cannot love one another, as Christ love us, know this, that all, no matter how perfect evil is perceived and seem to be going, it and all those who are a part of it, will fail. Yashuah said that. But to when we follow the righteous path and love one another, YHWH, through Yashuah, will do a good work in us all. God’s got it no worry no fear.

YASHUAH HAS CALMED OUR STORMS

Yashuah Has Already Calmed Our Storms; Just Hold On

We go about, each day, preparing our life for what we see happening to us (we don’t stop and consider that our direction could be rerouted by the Most High God for a different plan at any time(Read the story in Jonah, 1:1-17). We try and take the necessary steps of precautions, by laying it out exactly right (so we think); getting our little ducks in a row (but the head of the row is not Yashuah), mostly thinking of our abilities to procure the future of our dreams. We are not concerned with the storms that may try and overtake us as we set sail on our journey on the sea of life, causing winds, hail, rains, tornados, hurricanes (trials, troubles, tribulations) because we have “OUR” plan, the only one we think matter. So we do not really become concerned with the fact that preparation in the present makes the foundation for our future and lessons that were learned (should have been) in the past prepared us for our present. If we stay in the boat with Yashuah, no matter what, with His word He will calm the storms that are raging in our life. (Mark 4: 39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm).

But life has a way of “rocking our boats” so to speak.  We may have all the plans we want, and they are good ones. Ones that assure our future, with family, jobs etc., are secured. But our plans are not necessary YAH’s plan. Now, here comes the kicker, if the LORD desires us for a purpose, no matter how much we run, we will be used by Him: He has a calling on you for a specific purpose and no one but you can fulfill it. So, you might as well stop running and get on the righteous boat, say here am I LORD and be still and wait to hear from YAH. Because if Yashuah has another direction for you to go, (remember Jonah) even if it is one that is total opposite of what you have in mind, we need to ask our self a serious question. Do I get in (the boat) line with His choices (knowing that everything He does for me is for my good) or stay on the shore and watch my, ultimate, life that I can experience, move in the direction everyone else is going, away from YHWH into eternal damnation. or do you.  Here is the thing, we spend most of our life going around in circles (me included) and we never get to enjoy what our purpose is. And we know that if it is one purposed by YHWH it is perfect for our life. So, when He send His boat for us to board, let us do so with love and thanksgiving because if we sail on This boat the seas will be calmed when we need them to be. If not, we will sail through the squall without getting capsized or if we do, He will throw us out a lifeline to pull us back to His glorious shore.

Most true children of YHWH will follower after, especially after getting to know Him and what He wants to do in and through our life. And when we follower after His design for our life, storms (troubles, trials and tribulations) may come and try and destroy our faith, belief even our life. But we can be assured that even though our Lord may seem to be out of our reach, He is not; when we are threatened with a seen or an unforeseen danger He is right here. He will speak to the messes, (circumstances and situations) which have plagued us with fear and He rebuke the winds of troubles, (sickness, disease, poverty, loneliness, anxiousness, anger, etc.) and make the waves that overwhelm us with fear and anger be still. He causes all our troubles to become calm and stop hitting us, long enough, for us to catch our breath; not saying we will not get another round. But saying, we must hold fast, in times as these and all other times, to YAH’s Word, Yashuah’s fulfillments and the Holy Spirit’s guidance. For in His love for us, He does not allow anything to come upon us, to hit us so hard or come so often, to the point where we give up or die (physically and spiritually).

So, we should be of good courage at any junction of our life and stay in the boat (of YAH’s love) until we get to the other side with other believers. If we have faith and truly believe, like we say we do, we will not be afraid, concerned but not afraid. Because Yashuah will speak into and over our lives and the winds that try and blow us apart, down and away, will be still. And the waves that billows and threaten to swallow us up, will obey Him and settle down and be quiet.

Mark 4:35-41

35 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” 36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” 39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. 40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” 41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!” God’s got it no worry no fear.

Jesus Has Already Calmed Our Storms; Just Hold On

We go about preparing our life, mostly thinking of the future not really concerned with the present or what happened in the past. But life has a way of “rocking our boats” so to speak.  We may have all the plans we want, and they are good ones. Ones that assure our future, with family, jobs etc., are secured. Now, here comes the kicker. But what if Yashuah has another direction for you to go one that is quite the opposite of what you have in mind? Do you get in (the boat) line with His choice or stay on the shore and watch your life move away.

Most true children of YHWH will follower after (get in the boat, if you please), especially after getting to know Him and what He wants to do in and through our life. And when we follower after His design for our life, storms (troubles, trials and tribulations) that may come and try and destroy our faith, belief even our life, will not. Because we can be assured that even though our Lord may seem to be out of our reach, He is not; when we are threatened with a seen or an unforeseen danger He is right here (He is always with us but when we call to Him, for help, He makes Himself known through the action He takes. But saying, we must hold fast, in times as these and all other times, to YAH’s Word, Yashuah’s fulfillment and the Holy Spirit’s guidance. For in His love for us, He does not allow anything to come upon us, to hit us so hard or come so often, to the point where we give up or die (physically and spiritually).

So, while thinking seriously about whether we want to play it safe and stay on shore with the world and a life leading nowhere but down, we should be of good courage at any juncture of our life and stay in the boat (of YAH’s love); until we get to the other side with other believers. If we have faith and truly believe, like we say we do, we will not be afraid, concerned but not afraid. Because Yashuah will speak into and over our lives and the winds that try and blow us apart, down and away be still. And the waves that billows and threaten to swallow us up, will obey Him and settle down and be quiet.

“When YHWH is in the midst of the mix, the whole thing becomes a lifesaving eternal message. But when you allow the devil in the midst of, the mix the whole thing becomes a mess.” EDR
